Charged Fire Chief Allegedly Vandalizes Rare 1995 Nissan Nismo 270R: What You Need to Know

Piscataway, New Jersey – A video has emerged showing a fire chief allegedly vandalizing a rare 1995 Nissan Nismo 270R parked next to the firehouse where he works. The car’s owner, Mark Bahna, claims that Joshua Scolnick was upset about rainwater from his sump pump seeping over to the Arbor Hose Company #1 next door.

The car, being number five out of the 30 produced by Nissan in 1995, holds sentimental value for Bahna as Japanese sports cars have been a passion of his since childhood when he grew up watching movies like “The Fast and the Furious.”

Bahna’s attorney, Mark Speed, stated that they are exploring all legal options and have reached out to the parties involved in writing. The attorney mentioned that they are waiting for a response to the situation. However attempts were made to reach out to Scolnick at the firehouse where he works but there were no responses. Similarly, Piscataway Fire District No. 3 did not respond to messages.

Scolnick has been charged with 3rd degree criminal mischief and was released on a summons complaint. The incident has caused a stir in the community and has left Bahna exploring legal options to address the damage caused to his prized sports car.
