Blending J-pop and Alternative Rock: ATARASHII GAKKO!’s World Tour Promotes New Album AG

ATARASHII GAKKO! is gearing up to release their third full-length album AG! Calling on June 7 through their U.S. label 88rising. The album will mark the group’s first full-length release in five years, following their last album Wakage ga itaru. It will include fan favorites such as “Tokyo Calling” and “Fly High,” which have gained attention from their performances at events like Coachella and as the theme song for a Netflix movie.

The alternative Japanese girl group made their global debut under 88rising in 2021 and is set to embark on a World Tour to promote their new album. Starting with World Tour Part I in June at Primavera Sound 2024 in Madrid, they will be visiting 13 cities across Europe and Asia. Following that, World Tour Part II will kick off in September, with performances in 11 cities across North America.

Tickets for ATARASHII GAKKO!’s tour dates will be available for pre-sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on May 9 in each city, with general sales beginning at 10:00 a.m. on May 10. Fans can catch their energetic performances at various venues, including Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Bataclan in Paris, and The Theatre at Mediacorp in Singapore.

The group’s World Tour Part II will take them to cities like Vancouver, San Francisco, Chicago, and Dallas, providing fans in North America with the opportunity to experience their music live. With a unique blend of sounds and a captivating stage presence, ATARASHII GAKKO! promises an unforgettable concert experience for their fans around the world.
