New Era of Sponsorship: Texas Rangers Partner with Energy Transfer for Inaugural Circle Patch on Jerseys

Dallas-based energy infrastructure company, Energy Transfer, has been announced as the first jersey patch sponsor for the Texas Rangers in a new multiyear deal. This partnership includes an expanded marketing presence with ballpark signage and radio network inventory. The circle patch featuring Energy Transfer’s logo will be placed on the right sleeve of all six Rangers jerseys and will debut at the season opener against the Cubs at Globe Life Field.

This new jersey patch sponsorship is part of a growing trend in MLB, with 19 teams now featuring such deals heading into the upcoming season. These deals must have a minimum commitment of three years. The circle patch on the home jerseys will be in Rangers blue while it will be in white on road jerseys, highlighting the continued integration of sponsorships in professional sports and the importance of brand visibility for companies like Energy Transfer.

As the Rangers kick off their season with their new jersey patch sponsor, fans can expect to see more collaborations between sports teams and corporate partners in the future. This partnership shows how companies are increasingly using professional sports to reach a wider audience and promote their brand. It also highlights how sports teams are working to create new revenue streams through these types of partnerships.
