Mystery Maintenance Shuts Down Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry Amidst Exciting Exhibitions and Screenings

Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry has announced that it will be closed for unplanned maintenance on Wednesday. The museum did not provide any details about the maintenance in a statement to the media or on their website. Visitors who purchased advance tickets will be refunded or can reschedule for another time by calling 773-684-1414. The museum is expected to reopen for normal hours on Thursday.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is currently hosting several exhibitions, including “007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond,” which focuses on the science and technology behind the popular movie franchise. Another exhibition, “The Blue Paradox,” offers an immersive experience exploring the impacts of plastic pollution on the ocean. The Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition, a long-running event at the museum, will be on display until Sunday, April 21. In the Giant Dome Theater, films such as “Dark Universe,” “Michael Jordan to the Max,” and “Tornado Alley” will be shown through May 17.
