Harrington Wins 7th PGA Tour Champions Title in Nail-Biting Finish at Hoag Classic

Padraig Harrington secured his seventh PGA Tour Champions victory on Sunday at the Hoag Classic, held at Newport Beach Country Club. Despite a double bogey on the par-4 16th hole, Harrington rallied with birdies on the final two holes to win by one stroke over Thongchai Jaidee.

Harrington finished at 14-under 199 with a final round score of 2-under 69. The 52-year-old Irishman, who is set to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in June, boasts victories in The Open in 2007 and 2008, as well as the PGA Championship in 2008.

Jaidee also carded a 69 but fell short after a par on the final hole. Miguel Angel Jimenez finished two strokes back after a final round of 68, while Stephen Ames secured fourth place at 11-under with a score of 67. Jerry Kelly and K.J.
