From Acquisition to Renewal: Everis’ Evolution as a Tech Consulting Firm Amid Global Growth and Management Changes

The technology consulting firm Everis has undergone significant changes following the departure of Eduardo Serra as president and the reorganization of the Board of Directors in Europe and Latin America. NTT Data, a Japanese company, acquired Everis in Spain in 2013 and has since centralized part of its business in NTT DATA Inc. This move aims to create a leading technology services company with 140,000 workers globally and operations in over 80 countries.

Despite the change in ownership, Everis maintained its brand identity until the end of 2021 when the corporate image of the entire group was unified with its parent company. Since then, there have been several management changes at the company in Spain, including the departure of Sergi Biosca as CEO in October 2023 and his replacement by Victor López-Barrantes. Following Serra’s departure, other Spanish independent directors have also resigned, including Pedro Luis Uriarte, Zulueta Pillar, Alejandro Ferreiro, and Monica de Oriol. The company frames these changes as part of a restructuring that may see new members appointed in the future.
