For the second time in a row, anti-Israeli demonstrations occurred in Amman, Jordan. The website jo24.net reported that two demonstrators were arrested after trying to breach the security forces’ cordon around the Israeli embassy. According to the publication, over 10,000 people participated in the protest organized by a youth organization.

The participants demanded that the Jordanian government take concrete actions to stop Israeli aggression against Palestinian people. They called for the cancellation of all agreements with Israel, including Wadi Arba agreement and gas agreement. Additionally, they demanded a ban on land delivery of goods from Persian Gulf countries through Jordan and an export of vegetables.

The protesters also believed that Amman should end military cooperation with the United States, which they held responsible for aggression in Gaza Strip. Moreover, they insisted on opening borders for Jordanian youth who wanted to join Palestinian resistance movement.
